This is War

It's the moment of truth and the moment to lie

I am so tired of stagnating, I want to move forward with the book, but I can't edit it fast enough. I can only do so much editing a day before I burn out and the words start to blur. I wish I had the money to hire an editor but at the same time is it worth it? My technical ability is obviously nothing to write home about but my biggest concerns are how the book plays out or if I will actually be able to cut the words enough for one book, or will it be two?

I still need to make a website, and far that I want to make art, but I keep hitting a brick wall there. All I can do is edit but it doesn't seem enough. I want to start querying but it's rare for an agent to take an unpolished manuscript never mind one of this size.

I am getting an itch to do something with it, things just aren't going fast enough for me. I could do crits all day to get my chapters reviewed faster but then I get less crits myself and that detracts from my own time to write and edit.

I want so bad for this manuscript to be at the place I envision it. I suppose this is the hard part? I always thought editing would be cake once you got the words down, and in the beginning it was but it's getting harder.
