One step forward, never seems to get you nowhereI have spent most of my day packing, which mind you, is exciting as hell. I am burnt out and praying to God that they get the elevator fixed before we move, because I am not carting all this crap down 6 flights of stairs.
My brother burnt through the last half of my book yesterday. He literally read over a hundred word document pages in one sitting, which is quite a feat. I called him up once he was done and we had a good hour long (long distance) talk about everything. He found some parts slow and others he really liked, so I took notes and am now just waiting on my editor to finish reading the book.
I have a lot of ideas of what we could cut and where I want to take the manuscript, which is exciting, but curbing me away from CC at this moment. I didn't even submit another chapter yesterday like I usually do, nor have I looked at the chapter that came down today. I just don't want to waste my time with things that will likely be changing in the next little while.
I finished doing my own full manuscript edit and we are now hovering at just over 200,000 words, which is a significant drop from the 270k that we started at. There is hope that this can still be a single book. Anyways I suppose I should go check my critiques and such. Ciao
